Year Round Color
Site: This new construction home consisted of a straight concrete driveway with a walkway leading from the garage to the front entry. The landscape was minimalistic and uninteresting with a large expanse of lawn.
Solution: A mixture of colors and textures liven up this residence. Through the use of different ground plane materials such as granite stones, roman pavers, and colored concrete, areas were defined around the site. A wide roman paver walkway announces the entry, while rough cut, granite stones highlight a private, secluded walk. A series of patios surrounded by colorful plantings also helped to define the space and create a warm, cozy, atmosphere.
