Waterfront Relaxation
Site: This home is located on a small, narrow, sloped site on Lake Washington. The client wanted to utilize the small space for entertaining while incorporating asian-inspired plantings to soften hard edges.
Solution: The focal point of this courtyard is the faux granite hot tub and water feature that provides the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view. The faux granite treatment is carried throughout the site to create a transitional staircase and to define the main entry. The colored concrete patio truly comes alive when planting niches and ornamental pots of plants are incorporated.
